The Develp team will be at [Devcon 8 in Mumbai](https://blog.ethereum.org/2025/12/23/devcon-mumbai), November 3 to 6, at the Jio World Centre. Develp has a booth for the week, and the team would be glad to meet people who are working out how their organization stakes ETH.

Develp brings Ethereum expertise to institutional staking: its team builds Nimbus, one of Ethereum's consensus clients, and has run validators since the Merge in 2022.

## Who Develp would like to meet

The conversations the team is looking forward to include organizations planning to stake ETH for the first time, such as treasury and operations leads or teams building a custody product. Organizations that already stake and are thinking about a second operator next to the one they have would be good to meet too.

Foundations, DAOs and L2 teams reviewing how their treasury stake is set up are another example, and other situations are welcome too.

## Topics for a conversation

For an organization that has not staked yet, the setup chosen before the first deposit shapes its exposure from the start. Spreading the stake across clients, regions and operators is simplest to plan at that point, before any ETH is live.

For an organization that already stakes, one option is to keep the current operator and add a different setup for a share of the stake. The two setups then differ in their clients, their infrastructure and the team that runs them, which spreads the risk.

The next network upgrade, Glamsterdam, is [live on the Sepolia testnet](https://blog.ethereum.org/2026/09/17/glamsterdam-testnet-announcement), and [its mainnet date has not been decided yet](https://blog.ethereum.org/2026/10/16/glamsterdam-hoodi-announcement). The team works on a consensus client, so it can walk through what the upgrade changes for validators and what stakers may want to check before it reaches mainnet.

Develp also offers a review of an existing staking setup: how concentrated it is across clients, regions and operators, how keys and exits are arranged, and how a second operator would fit. Its scope is agreed on a call.
